Nutavut Ratanakarn (Thailand)

 

An international classical guitarist in Thailand, Nutavut Ratanakarn has been giving concerts, and master classes in Austria, England, Italy,Israel, Japan, Korea, Liechtenstein,Malaysia,Mexico, Russia and Thailand. He given concert , masterclass and jury member of many international guitar festival, including Moisycos International Guitar Festival (Italy),Kasetsart Guitar Festival, Bangkok International Guitar Festival ,Thailand International Guitar Festival, Magnitogorsk Festival( Russia),Guitar Gems International Classical Guitar Festival & Competition(Israel),Malaysia International Guitar Festival(Malaysia)Festival Internacional y Concurso Nacional de Guitarra "Ramon Noble"(Mexico).He is currently the director of Bangkok International Guitar Festival, Thailand International Guitar Festival and president of Bangkok Guitar Society. He was a prize winner in Thailand International Guitar Competition 2003, Thailand Classical Guitar Competition1999 , and Thailand Yamaha Competition 1998 and1999. He has 5 records, "the Art of Spain", "Guitar Recital", "The Rhythm of Love' audio CD, "Live concert inKorea" DVD Video by Alma Guitar and "Mai Thai Hi-run" Guitar with maithai chamber orchestra.

He graduated with first-class honor from Kasetsart University majoring inClassical Guitar Performance. He also received diploma from "Ligita"(Liechtenstein) and "Wien 2004". He participated in master classes with Alvaro Pierri, Eduarado Fernandez, Costas Cotsiolis, Paulo Bellinati, PavelSteidl, Konrad Ragossnig, William Bower, Phillipe Villa, Jorgos Panetsos,Alessio Monti, Jury Clormann, Gareth Koch, Tomas Offermann, and Jozef Zsapka. He began his formal guitar lesson at 17. His principle teachers are Santi Sequerkawe,Tawee Maneecharuthat, Vidhaya Vosbein, Kamol Adshariyasart, and LeonKoudelak.

Alessio Monti (Italy)


Alessio Monti, guitarist and composer, began his first musical experiences in 1966, playing electric guitar in some famous pop italian groups and writing many songs against the war. Some years later, after his “rock experience”, he started to study classical guitar, and in 1983 he completed his formal studies in music at the L. Cherubini Conservatory of Florence obtaining the diploma with the highest marks and honour.

Extensive touring of the Orient has greatly influenced Alessio's style and his research of Eastern philosophy leaves an indelible mark on the composer's consciousness and music explorations.

His style is extremely innovative and will be of great interest to lovers of many genres, from minimalist to jazz, to Eastern and Western classical traditions.

Alessio has truly penetrated a creative space within himself that re-frames what can be done with guitar.

He is involved in intense artistic activity, participating in the most noteworthy international orchestras and festivals throughout Europe Asia, Africa, the Americas, with rave reviews from audience and press alike.

He has given Masterclasses at "Escuela Universitaria de Musica" (Montevideo), "Conservatorio A. Barrios" (Asuncion), "National Conservatory" (Nairobi), "Univerditade" (Rio de Janeiro), "India International Center" (New Delhi), "Hofstra University" (New York), "Conservatorio Nacional" (Santiago del Cile), "Bangkok Guitar Society", Bangkok, "Colegio Internacional Raimondi?", Lima (Peru). He has been invited to live record for many Radio and Television broadcasting in many countries.

Alessio's ingenuity has him in high demand for teaching master classes, workshops and conferences abroad and in his native Italy.

The compositions on all 17 Alessio's CDs, feature sitar, flute, clarinet, soprano sax, violin viola, violoncello, contrabass, percussion and electronic devices as well as solo guitar.

His biography with some of his works and his recording are now included in the “Encyclopaedia of the contemporary composers”, edited in Italy by Pagano Editor

Now he is working to put background music on the italian translation of “Bhagavad Gita”, the holy Hindu book that will be published in three Cd (acting and music) by “Esotheric Librairy” in Milan, Italy.

 

Grigory Novikov (Russia)

Grigory Novikov was born 1979 in Kirov (Russia). He started to learn to play the guitar at the age of 16 with the professor Vera Tataurova in privat music guitar school in Kirov.

Between 1997—2006 he was studing at the Music College in Kirov and N.Novgorod in guitar class of professor by Vladimir Mityakov. Grigory continued his education in Conservatory in N.Novgorod (Russia). He took Master Classes and Stages with Carlo Marchione, Gabriel Guillen, Hugo Geller, Aniello Desiderio, Marcin Dylla, Philippe Villa and Alvaro Pierri. In his hometown he is a teacher in Music School for Talented Children, Kirov and Arzamas Music Colleges. Since 2006, he is working in team for the Kuznecov's International Guitar Festival in Magnitogorsk (Russia).

He has played in a several important musical events, like International Guitar Festivals or Halls: Festival GuitarISRIA "Sea and Guitars" (Croatia), Guitar Festival in Pescara (Italy), Guitar Festival in Korat (Thailand), Guitar Festival in ILe de Re (France), Russian Style (N.Novgorod, Russia), Fonsegrives and St.Marcel (France), Kuznecov's Guitar Festival in Magnitogorsk (Russia), Thai-German Cultural Foundation (Thailand), Perigord (France), International Festival of Chamber music (Germany), International Guitar Festivail in Cassino (Italy), Kirov's Museum of Art (Russia), Bangkok International Guitar Festival (Thailand) and other places.

Grigory plays with guitar by Zbigniew Gnatek (Australia) model Cedar — Rio Brazilian Rose wood (summer 2008) and Kim, Hee Hong (S.Korea) model guitar- Spruce double — topped master model. Several composers have dedicated works to him: T.Shvanserberg (Germany) and S.Arbiol (France). Grigory has recorded CD in Bangkok's studio in 2009 with music by F.Sor, J.K.Mertz, B.Sanchez and J.Turina.

Leonado Martin Caelaria (Mexico)

Leonardo Martin Cadelaria was born in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. He realises his musical studies in the Institute Hidalguense de Bellas Artes and in the City of Mexico, with the recognized maestro Argentinean, Manuel Lopez Ramos.

It is graduated by the Hispano-American Center of Guitar, in Tijuana B.C. Mexico, where I realise orchestral practices with the Orchestra of Baja California, under the direction of the maestro, Eduardo Garcia and the Russian pianist, Faritaz Tchivirova (chamber music)

He participate in VII the course of interpretation, in the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina, with Eduardo Isaac.

He has participated in several courses and master class in Mexico and the foreigner, with many named guitarist players in the world: Alirio Diaz, Manuel Barrueco, Cotsiolis Coasts, Eva Fampas, Eduardo Fernandez, Eduardo Isaac, David Rusell. etc.

From 1994 it has maintained a constant activity like soloist or member of chamber music. He has taken in important cultural and guitaristic festivals in Mexican and North America, Central America, South America and Europe.

Mr. Candelaria, counts on invitations until the end of the 2010 to participate in important festivales of music and guitar in Germany, Austria, Brazil, Spain (the United States (Festival of Guitar of the University of Texas in Dallas) France (Guitarres du Monde de Perpignan) Italy, Switzerland and in April and October of the 2009, (respectively) the International of Guitar in Magnitigorsk would participate in the Festival, Russia; and the Festival the International of Guitar of Thailand, in Bangkok.

Scholarship holder by the Fondo Estatal para la Cultura y Las Artes, FOECAH, in 1998 and 2005, and by the Hispano-American Guitar Center CHG-CONACULTA, in 1996 and 1998. At this moment, he is scholarship holder of the by the same FOECAH, emission 2008, by its project "Mexican Music for Guitar of Century XX".

Its work has been spread by diverse radio transmitters and television: Mexican institute of the Radio, "Group IMER"; Radio France the International; Channel 22 of the National Polytechnical Institute, System of Radio and Television of the Hidalgo State; and television channels in Bolivia, Peru and Uruguay.

It has offered master class and conferences in: the Conservatory, Gilardo Gilardi, City of la Plata, Argentina; National Conservatory of Music of Bolivia; National Academy of Music of Cochabamba, Bolivia; VII Seminary the International of Violao (Guitar) Vital Madeiros, Sao Pablo Brazil; Colorado Springs Guitar Society, Colorado, United States; National University San Agust?n, UNSA, Arequipa, Peru; Provincial Conservatory of City of Durazno , Uruguay, etc.

Recognized composers like: Eduardo Garrido (Spain) Simone Iannareli (Italy) Julio Cesar Oliva, (Mexico) Ernesto Luna Gomez, (Mexico) Nadia Borislova, (Russia) Daniel Morgade (Uruguay), has dedicated and/or trusting to him, works for guitar solo, chamber music and for guitar and orchestra.

The interest by the diffusion of the guitar of concert in his own state of Hidalgo, has taken to create diverse projects related to the spreading of classical guitar.

He is founding and artistic director of the Festival the International and National Contest of Classic Guitar, "Noble Ramon" in the city of Pachuca, Hidalgo.

Inside their projects that it has developed, emphasize the diffusion of the work for guitar of the extinct composer, Noble Ramon; repertoire soloist of romantic music for guitar (interpreted with an Italian replica of S. XIX); execution of integral programs of music for guitar and joints of camera, (from the baroque one to the 21st century).

At the beginning of 2007, founding the "Argentis Guitar Duo", with the Mexican guitarist, Mauricio Hernandez-Monterrubio, with who recorder two compact discs:

Hitoshi Miyashita was born on 5 October 1992 in Phuket (Thailand). He started study guitar with Prf. Wanchai Saiwilai at Siamkonlakarn Phuket

In 2007 he study in Mahidol College of Music (Pre-College Program) with Prf.Prasong phonin, Prf. Tawee maneejaruthat and Dr.Paul Cesarczyk

Worakarn Saengsomboon (Thailand)

Worakarn Saengsomboon was born in 1980 in Chaing-mai (Thailand). He started study guitar at age of 12 with Prf. Manoon Ploypradub. He graduated from Kasetsart University major in Classical Guitar Performance with Prf. Vidhaya Vosbien and Masterdegree of Music at Mahidol University major in Classical Guitar Performance with Prf. Philipe Villa .

In 1996-1998 he took First Prize winner from Yamaha Guitar competition 3 year continue.He took master class with Eduardo Fernandez,Paulo Bellinati and Pavel Steidl.

Now Worakarn important guitar teacher in Thailand. He has invite for teaching in many university such as Mahidol University , Silpakorn University and etc...also he is a committee in Bangkok Guitar Society .

Ae Wizard (Thailand)

Ae Wizard (a.k.a. Aekachai Krai-arnon), is the bandleader and guitar player in a Thai rock band called "WIZARD" and his own team, "Ae Wizard Band". Despites being regarded as one of rock guitarist, he actually adopts funky groove, blues and the like, then blended all of those music ingredients and make it ready to serve with his distinctive style. Apart from releasing albums and playing with the band, he also teaches guitar for private classes and being an electric guitar specialist faculty member at Rajabhat Pranakorn University. Also, we can read his music articles published monthly in Sound & Stage magazine and join his guitar clinic which being held regularly under a campaign "Ae Wizard Workshow Workshop".
In his teen, Ae formed the band with friends and joined a lot of band competitions which he had earned awards like :

After winning many amateur stages, it's time to step up another level. Wizard was signed to BMG (Thailand), and committed to release albums with the label. In 1995 Wizard released 1st self-titled EP, "Wizard", followed by album "Wizard Poh Mod" in a year later. 7 years later the band released their 2nd album, "Wizard II : Return of the Wizard" which the song "Lazy on a Monday Morning" was nominated as "the Best Instrumental Music" in Season Awards. 2006 Ae released his first CD as a solo artist, entitled "Ae Wizard : My Groove" and the song "Chicken Run" from the album was again nominated as "the Best Instrumental Music", Season Awards. In year 2003, Ae put out his first textbook for musicians entitled "Encyclopedia of Electric Guitars & Basses". 2008 his first pocket book, "Tunesmith : Music Operation Outside the Box", was released.
At present time, Ae Wizard's still busy with his multi-role music working, like writing music for his own album, running guitar clinic, teaching private and at university and being a columnist. He would do anything if the music calls.
